In short: DailyFact.net plans to earn money from advertising (Google AdSense) and affiliate links (including Amazon Associates). As of the date below, none are live. When they are, we will say so on this page and next to affiliate links, and money will never decide what we write.
Where things stand today
| Item | Status on October 18, 2026 |
|---|---|
| Display advertising (Google AdSense) | Not live. Planned within weeks. |
| Amazon Associates links | None on the Site. Planned within weeks. |
| Other affiliate programs | None on the Site. More may follow. |
| Paid or sponsored posts | None. |
We will update this table on the day each of these goes live.
Affiliate links
An affiliate link takes you to a seller’s website. If you then buy something, the seller may pay us a commission. It does not cost you anything extra, and prices are set by the seller.
When affiliate links appear on the Site, we will:
- tell you on the page, close to the links and before you reach them, in plain words such as “This page contains affiliate links; we may earn a commission if you buy”;
- mark the links as sponsored or affiliate links for search engines (rel=”sponsored”);
- show the statement Amazon requires, “As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.”, on the Site once we are an Amazon Associate.
Advertising
When we turn on Google AdSense, Google and its partners will show ads on some pages. We do not choose the advertisers for individual visitors, and we do not endorse the products advertised. Ads should be clearly separate from our articles. Advertising cookies are set only after you accept the Advertising category in our cookie banner (see the Cookie Policy). To opt out of personalized ads, visit Google Ads Settings or www.aboutads.info.
Editorial independence
- Commissions and advertising revenue do not decide what we cover or what we say about a product.
- We do not accept payment for a favorable mention. If a post is ever paid for or sponsored, it will say so at the top.
- We may link to a product we do not earn from, and we may earn nothing from a product we recommend.
- A commission can still affect incentives, which is why we tell you about it.
Your decisions
